(More customer reviews)I was looking for something loveseat size that would fit in our small living room. I also wanted to make it into a bed for guests. This was the perfect size for our little corner. We have it in the seat position and it works just like a loveseat/small couch. You have to have a thin futon mattress to do this, as you fold the bottom of the mattress under the middle. It's just long enough for me to sprawl out and read on it--I think a double size tri-fold would have been too narrow to do this. When in the lounger position, it takes up a lot of room but would be useful for those who like to lounge about in bed. The footrest can be horizontal or diagonal toward the ground. The bed is quite comfortable, although it will need some extra padding since we have the thin futon mattress on it. We had concerns that, since it is a wide queen size, it would have too much stress in the middle and be prone to breaking if too much weight were placed upon it. I don't think we have to worry about this though--the wood is quite strong.
Putting it together is somewhat complex. The instructions are good though. We worked it where I read ahead and got all the pieces together step by step, and my husband put them together.
