(More customer reviews)I bought the sleepi system and was very excited after reading many positive reviews. We put the bassinet together and quickly realized that the mattress was far too small. After looking online I found out that the mattresses had been recalled. I had to HOUND (around 15 phone calls and twenty emails) them for a proper mattress. I finally received the bassinet mattress after a few months. They promised to send a new crib mattress when they got them in stock. When I hadn't received a new one a few weeks after they told me to expect it, I contacted the representative I had been corresponding with via email. I then received an email stating that she would be "out of the office" until February. This is when I found out that they have removed their telephone number from their website. I have now gotten word that I must send them a picture of the crib and ill fitting mattress in order to get a safe one. The problem is, that would require me taking the bassinet apart in order to put a crib together that I won't need for a few months. The serial number of the mattress is listed as recalled and the won;t send me a new one without photo evidence. What would I get out of lying about it? What a pain.
BOTTOM LINE: Your baby's safety is of utmost importance...but not to this company. Terrible customer service. Just terrible. I think of my interaction with them as a second job. It requires that much effort and causes undue frustration. The crib itself is kinda cool but NOT WORTH THE EXPENSE (financial or time).
